The product range of industrial hoses has become more and more extensive over the last years. Technically elaborate processes require increasingly specific products. Industry adapted to this development long ago and conceives its products as required.

However, there is also the opposite trend to combine many important features in modern industrial products. Right here, SCHAUENBURG Ruhrkunststoff GmbH now provides an attractive option, Made in Germany.

The new SMARTFLEX series is a real all-rounder in the area of industrial hoses because it combines four basic properties in one spiral tube:

• permanently antistatic

• flame retardant

• microbe-resistant

• hydrolysis-resistant

A unique mixture of raw materials allows a lot of opportunities for many different applications. The SMARTFLEX meets the requirements of the TRGS 727 and ATEX 94/9 / EC wich reliably prevents  a risk of ignition due to electrostatic.

In combination with its capacity of flammability, which has been tested according to DIN 4102 B1 for the complete hose by the Material Testing Institute North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany; it is therefore particularly interesting for use in the woodworking industry.

Thanks to many different versions in the wall thicknesses (0.4 | 0.6 | 0.7 | 1.0 | 1.4 mm) the SMARTFLEX can be used both as transport and suction hose for liquid and gaseous media, as well as for resin feeding.
