SCHAUENBURG-Group goes green!

We are breaking new grounds – even in terms of energy supply.

In May we put four photovoltaic systems at our location in Mülheim an der Ruhr into operation. They are covering an area of 2.642 m^².

The expected energy output is about 330.000 kWh, which is equal to the average annual energy consumption of approximately 90 households.

With our way of generating “green power” we are able to reduce CO^² emissions by about 233 tons per year (compared to the average emission of the German electricity-mix.)

We are going to expand our clean power concept and build further photovoltaic systems at our production facilities worldwide.
